Angie has been practicing yoga on and off since childhood, yet never felt a true connection with it until a sudden sickness & injury enabled her to get back into the practice and discover the type of yoga that was right for her. Since then, Angie has been practicing yoga regularly and striving for further growth in her practice with each passing class or workshop that she attends. Because yoga found her at the right time in her life, she was eager to share with others and continued her education by attending AFAA  courses for Practical Yoga Instructor Training. She currently holds her AFAA membership in good standing and has completed her Yoga Instructor Training through them. Meanwhile, she will soon be attending teacher training and continuing her pursuit as an instructor through the Yoga Alliance. She has been teaching for 1 year now, both privately and in a group setting. She is delighted to be a part of the My Body Yoga Staff and looks forward to guiding you as an instructor in her classes!

I have been practicing yoga and pilates for the past four years. I have personally experienced the great benefits that can be gained from practicing yoga and pilates strengthening mind, body, and spirit.  My experience includes certifications in both yoga and pilates; core conditioning; advance level classes; workshop; and a host of video programming. I traveled to the Czech Republic to attend special yoga retreat whose primary focus was yoga and pilates training, but also included Bellydancing and African Folk Dance seminars for fun. I am a native of the Czech Republic, there I ran an image consulting business; a translation service, and I also instructed aerobics for a number of years. I am a believer in total fitness and have an active membership with Gold's Gym.

Cece came to find yoga after a trying natural disaster; Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, MS.  It was the rock; which calmed her inner soul while the world around her was in complete disarray.  She’s now been passionately practicing for over three years.  Teaching has given her the opportunity to give back to others in hope that yoga will also become a way of life for them.  Her constant source for support is her loving husband and bouncing baby boy Seth.

Jen Martin R.Y.T. has been practicing hatha yoga since 1995. She began to seriously study yoga in 2005 at The Yoga Center of Columbia in Columbia, MD.
